Save time. Schedule your tweets and updates on Facebook and Twitter. See just how easy it is to manage and schedule your Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn updates by using the free Buffer App.
With Buffer you can set up profiles in Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. You can compose and post an update immediately or you can schedule your posts and retweets. Buffer allows you to set the times of day and days for your updates and customize the schedule to each profile. You can also edit, x-out or move a post to another time, and choose which profiles to share a particular post or tweet.
Spacing out your social media updates keeps you from looking spammy. It also allows you to post at the optimum times for engaging your fans and followers.
So when you see a particular blog post or tweet you’d like to share, you can schedule it for later by clicking on the Buffer button in your bookmarks bar.
Buffer offers an array of extensions to use with your smart phones and other devices and services. It also provides a button for your website to make it easy for others to buffer their shares of your site.
The free version of Buffer limits you to 10 buffered posts in your profiles, but if you refer Buffer to friends, you each receive an extra buffered post when they sign up.
If you’d like to try Buffer, click on this link: http://bufferapp.com/r/277a2 and we’ll both get an extra Buffer post.
Facebook and Third-Party Schedulers
Note: Due to the new Facebook Scheduler, I try to avoid using any third-party schedulers, including Buffer and Hootsuite, to schedule Facebook updates. Facebook prefers you to update in Facebook. It’s an extra step, but it keeps Facebook happy.
